At Bii, we believe in caring for the whole planet, and making the biggest impact for good means focusing on our friends, neighbors, and community right at home. That’s why we are a local business committed to supporting our local community.
Since our community is our top priority, this year we held a Cut-a-Thon to support Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of McHenry County.
Why? BiiCause every child deserves a voice.
Supporting Volunteer Advocates
CASA McHenry provides advocates for abused and neglected children. The mission of CASA is to support and promote court appointed volunteer advocacy in McHenry County which provides children with a voice. A CASA volunteer or a Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) volunteer is assigned to only one or two children or sibling groups at a time, allowing them to commit more time to each child.
Titles vary by location, but both CASA volunteers and GAL volunteers are appointed by the court. When a case is being considered, the judge looks to the volunteer to be an expert on the best interests of the child.
The charity Cut-a-Thon at Bii took place on Saturday, July 27. The proceeds from every haircut were donated to CASA along with a percentage of retail earnings.
We Surpassed Our Goal!
Thanks to the support of our engaged community, we topped our goal for the Cut-a-Thon. Everyone who is part of Bii—from guests to staff—made the Cut-a-Thon a success. We are proud to be a part of this community and are looking forward to helping it thrive moving forward.
Our Cut-a-Thons are an example of Bii not only having you look good, but having you feeling good about it, too.
Thank you again for making the donation to CASA McHenry possible!
